Our philosophy for AEP
Our alternative education pathway is non academic focused and offers a non-traditional approach to learning, providing a flexible and personalized environment for students with diverse needs and challenges not met by traditional academic programs and schooling. This AEP programs emphasizes different pedagogical methods, small class sizes, a strong sense of community, and specialized support services like counseling and social-emotional learning to help students succeed in educational setting, acquire skill building and beyond.

Students with Special Needs:
Our AEP Program is designed for our gifted students, students with special needs, or those who struggle in traditional environments.

Educational Support:
Interventions are offered for our AEP students whose academic or social progress is hindered by their circumstances or personal characteristics, including students who have been expelled or fallen behind in previous school environments.

Career Paths:
We offer skill building to allow our AEP students the opportunity to explore different avenues to pursue careers, including work-related training and skills development.

Experiential and Unstructured Learning:
Our AEP environment allow for more flexible, project-based learning and hands-on experiences, fostering mastery and real-world application in culinary arts, horticulture, arts, music, salon business etiquette etc. Many more stakeholders are joining our AEP so we will have a growing list of skills for our students to choose from.
