Whether fully online or hybrid participation we cater to specific needs of our students with learning differences or any of those needing an alternative pathway to graduation.
We offer a flexible and accessible way for students to complete their high school education from anywhere with an internet connection.
Spectrum Academy provides a structured learning environment, often with live, interactive classes, and we try to cater to various needs, including those who prefer a self-paced approach or require specialized support.

Flexibility and Accessibility:
Our Online school allows our students to learn alongside their peers on site in a structured schedule or at their own pace and on their own schedule with recorded sessions making it suitable for various learning styles and situations. We also offer hybrid options to do some on-site sessions and socials.
Online Curriculum
Online Secondary School
Our virtual school offers most of the subjects in our comprehensive CSEC Secondary School curriculum as the on-site program aligned with traditional high school standards, including most core subjects.
Hybrid:
A mixed modality opportunity where students attend core theory based classes online but attend in person on site for practical sessions and examinations is offered especially for subjects requiring lab work and collaboration or skills to be taught in person.
Live Classes and Support:
Our online school offers live, interactive classes with teachers, providing opportunities for direct interaction and support. Live classes according to the Online school schedule are available with limited access to enrolled students only. Some sessions are recorded for later review. All materials for each class is uploaded on Spectrum Google Classroom portal for ease of access by the student, their parent or guardian or educational assistant. Assessments are also uploaded and graded online.
Exam Preparation:
Our students who enroll in our online school will also experience support when preparing for standardized exams. However, it is possible their actual exams may take place at our school or at an examination center based on their registration for CSEC/GCE or LSPE.
